Susan Kluthe will be leaving the village of Cairo after 27 years as the Village Clerk. She has accepted a position as Deputy Clerk with the city of Bellevue. She and her husband Gerald are moving to the Bellevue area to be closer to their children and grandson.
For years Susan has been the face of the Village office. She answers questions ranging from “where did the fire trucks go” to what are the zoning regulations for my property and everything in between! She is usually the first one people talk to when moving into the community and is helpful to everyone that comes in the office.
There will be a community reception for her Monday, April 11, from 3-5 pm at the Village Hall. The public is encouraged to stop in a and wish Susan good luck.
