Cairo United Methodist Church Invites children to Wilderness Escape VBS
A summer event called “Wilderness Escape: Where God Guides and Provides” will be hosted at the Cairo United Methodist church from July 13-17. Children, ages preschool through 6th grade, step back in time at Wilderness Escape, exploring some of the adventures faced by Moses and the Israelites. Kids participate at the Israelite Camp, sing songs, play teamwork-building games, dig into Bible time snacks, visit Moses, and collect Bible Memory Buddies to remind them of God’s word. Also everyone learns to look for evidence of God all around them through something called God Sightings. Each day concludes at Celebration—a time of upbeat worship that gets everyone involved. Wilderness Escape will run from 5-7:45 pm each day with a light supper provided. For more information call 308-485-4336.
