Cairo is celebrating five years of Agriculture Safety Day. Be sure to bring your K thru 6th grader to Safety Day on June 4th. Registration starts at 7:30 am. The day ends at 2 pm. Each child receives a t-shirt, lunch, snack and take home goodie bag.
Children get to participate in safety teaching activities focused on these topics: weather, auger, tractor roll over, knife, school bus, semi, stress management, hypothermia, neck and technology hazards, hunting and gun, road and flat tire, food, vaping and juuling.
The Cairo Community Foundation operates a fund to provide financial support for Progressive Agriculture Safety Day.
Several businesses donate time and funding to make Safety Day a fun, hands-on, learning adventure.
