COMMUNITY-OWNED ACE REWARDS LOCAL GROUP
CAIRO – Members of the Son Light Bible Fellowship Youth Group recently were awarded $200.00 for their efforts in placing door hangers through Cairo neighborhoods reminding people to choose community-owned ACE as their choice for a natural gas supplier during Nebraska Choice Gas selection period (April 11 – April 24).
ACE, the Public Alliance for Community Energy, is the only community-owned, not for profit gas supplier in the Choice Gas Program. ACE participates in the Choice Gas program to provide competition, which helps lower prices for all consumers in the program. ACE holds to the same philosophy that led to its creation in 1998: providing competition to lower prices, local representation and keeping more money in Nebraska. As a not-for-profit supplier, ACE has returned more than $1 million to its Nebraska member communities for their local use.
The youth group from Son Light Bible Fellowship is a local church in Cairo. They spent Saturday, April 4th distributing information on the Choice Gas Program as a community service/fund raising project. In the past they have participated in mission trips & community projects to assist those in need.
